This oatmeal has staying power. I’m not sure about your life, but mine is constantly on the go and I need a breakfast that stays with me. My girls also do varying degrees of this oatmeal, I think they like it for the almond butter and maple syrup! I love it for them, cause I can get some extra goodness in them with the flax and pumpkin seeds. Great omega’s and immune boosting foods!
- 1/2 cup oats boiled
- 1 tsp almond butter
- pinch flax seeds
- sprinkle pumpkin seeds
- sprinkle coconut flakes
- splash almond milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup to add some more sweetness!
Boil oats (direction on package – usually double the water to oats, boil, don’t forget to stir)
Add tsp of almond butter
Sprinkle all other dry ingredients
Add the almond milk then the maple syrup
