This healthy shamrock shake is creamy, sweet, minty and gives me all the feels of a classic shamrock shake, it’s also vegan, gluten free and dairy free. Did I mention that it also has fruit and vegetables? Right, don’t tell them about that.

You can also make this amazing shake into “nice cream” by simply pouring the blended mixture into a freezer safe glass container and freezing for 2-4 hours, then scoop and serve!

Healthy Shamrock Shake
Ingredients
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3-5 drops peppermint extract
  • 1 handful ice
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Combine everything in a blender but the chocolate chips. BLEND. Start slow and you may need to work the ingredients in.

  2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove top. Once melted, turn the blender on so everything is just slowly churning and pour in the melted chocolate. Blend for 20-30 secs. This will give the shake perfect small little chocolate flecks.

  3. If you just want it done quickly, throw in the chocolate chips as is and blend for 20-30 secs.

  4. Serve and enjoy.

  5. If you want to make it into "nice cream", just pour mixture into glass freezer safe container and freeze for 2-4 hrs. Scoop and serve.
