Gelatin is the bomb! Really. And these fun and healthy jelly snacks are the perfect way to get some gelatin into your kids. Oh, and they are perfect for you too! Gelatin is so good for you and any little person that consumes it. Not to mention, most kids love the texture and it’s just plain fun to eat. Gelatin is a protein derived from collagen and plays a monstrous roll in healing your gut. In the simplest of terms it really does help heal the holes in the gut lining. These holes allow the toxins from what you eat to enter your body, gelatin is like the glue to keep it out to make sure it exits your body . This is one of the many things that gelatin does but there is a laundry list of benefits like immune boosting, healthy joints, healthy hair, nails, teeth and the list goes on. This recipe requires 2 ingredients, a lot of whisking, and some fun cookie cutters. That line up, says “kids” all over it!

- 2 Cups Fruit Juice (Blueberry is so good!)
- 2-3 Tbsp Gelatin (good quality and unflavoured)
In a sauce pan warm your fruit juice (do not bring to a boil).
Add 2-3 tbsp of gelatin to a small bowl.
Remove sauce pan from any heat and slowly pour gelatin into warmed juice. Whisk vigourously to ensure there is no clumping. Whisk thoroughly for 2-5 mins.
Pour mixture into a 9x9 pan and place in fridge for atleast 30 mins.
You can also pour this mixture into small serving bowls if you prefer. If you are doing the bowl version, I would use 2 tbsp of gelatin.
For pan version, once removed from fridge you can cut into squares or use cute cookies cutters to make fun shapes.
